Neither my husband or I had previously renovated a home and were looking for a very hands on designer to help guide us through the process. She not only listened to us as we described our style and vision for our home, but provided feedback and ideas in many different areas that really got us excited to begin. Sonya and I shared concept photos of bathrooms, kitchens, living rooms, and other areas of the house. I could type forever thanking Sonya for designing the beautiful house we now live in, but what stands out even more than her expertise in design is the kind of person she is. As previously mentioned, we had not previously renovated a home and were very unaware of all the details and work it took to design a home. She was very patient with us through the decision making process and guided us from the beginning to end. Sonya was always extremely prompt with emails and phone calls with us, as well as following up with vendors. She not only designed our home, but worked with our contractor in managing the entire project while we lived across the country for part of the renovation. On a personal note, I was pregnant with twins throughout the whole renovation and Sonya regularly called, texted, and emailed checking in to see how I was feeling and arranged our meetings around this. My husband and I could not be more pleased with her services and now consider her a friend to our family. We recommend over and over again Sonya with Fortune Design.

Somewhat reluctant now because of the beautiful transformation of my home, I listed my home on the market for more than what other homes were selling for in my neighborhood. After all, in this economy, there would be plenty of time to find my next dream house while waiting for a qualified buyer to come in with an acceptable offer. My home had two offers and sold in two weeks!

I did find and purchase a new house which, unlike my first project with Sonya, is going to be completely renovated and with that come many challenges. Once again, I have turned to Fortune Design as I know that, with Sonya, we will turn this house into an inspirational home that I will never want to leave.
